We are anxious for you to have the time of your life on your hunt and with some planning and care we are sure it will happen. Depending on the property that you are hunting on, you will most likely be MILES away from any help or assistance. The nature of your hunt mandates that you will be in areas remote from any civilized accommodations. Cellular telephones may not always have signal and gas stations are non-existent. While you are on your hunt…be prepared. Bring extra water, food and first-aid supplies. Make certain that your vehicle is well maintained and has a full tank of gas and you have a spare tire and the necessary tools to perform minor repairs.
You are responsible for your safety !
The following is a list of supplies and equipment that you may want to bring with you on your hunt:
· Binoculars and/or spotting scope · Personal toiletries for your room and field · Your guns and plenty of ammo · Gun cleaning supplies · Sturdy pair of boots · Light jacket and hat · Bug spray, sun screen and lip balm · Cellular telephone (signal in some areas) · Camera - batteries · Range finder · Cooler with ice · Food and drink for a couple days · Compass and/or GPS · Tool kit, multi-tool and/or pocket knife · First Aid Kit · Flashlight · Hunter’s Safety Certificate is required if you were born after December 31, 1965.
In the Summer temperatures in the field can reach 95 degrees or more in the shade, AND THERE AIN’T NO SHADE !! |
